My first tome having granola that I really liked was last Christmas. It wa delicious! I’ve had granola before… But not like this. This was amazing! Cherry almond granola. My mom’s friend Linda brought us a big bag and I basically ate the whole thing. I’ve been obsessing over it since and I finally got the recipe!
4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2 cups sweetened, shredded coconut
2 cups sliced almonds
1 1/2 cups dried cherries, chopped
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup good honey
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

One problem… I didn’t have all the dried fruit that’s supposed to go in it… But next time I make it I will definitely have the dried cherries. Yumm
preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
So here I started with granola chopped almonds and coconut š *this is also where i would have tossed in the cherries!
Then I whisked up some honey and vegetable oil
I then poured the liquid over the granola mixture stirred and into the oven it goes! bake for 25-30 min until golden brown. pull our and let cool until ready to eat!
I wrapped mine up and added it to a late Christmas gift š
Yum! I love granola. It’s a perfect addition to breakfast or great to eat on its own as a snack. I bet it would be good with dried cranberries or raisins too :).
Thanks for being my first comment! I just started my blog last night š come check it out soon I will have more pictures and recipes up soon š
Thanks again!
